A board of Caribbean experts have spoken out today about the need for the public and private sector to come together to assist the growth of tourism in the region.
The panel included recently elected President of the CHA, Berthia Parle who indicated the need to, `market the Caribbean to the people of the Caribbean.`
Parle said, `People in the Caribbean don`t feel like they are a part of the tourism industry, alot are reluctant to go into properties as they are made to feel unwelcome.`
Parle observed that if tourism is to continue to grow then everybody must work together to increase market share and gain repeat visitors.
