St. Maarten/St. Martin lay out Travel Agent seminars

St. Maarten/St. Martin
will court travel agents next month with a series of educational breakfast and dinner seminars highlighting infrastructure improvements
Areas covered will include the Simpson Bay Bridge and Isle de Sol marina, the Harbour Point Village initiative in Phillisburg, as well as the new Marina Fort Louis in Marigot, the new hotel and villa development on Orient Beach and various updates of hotel products on both the Dutch and French sides of the island.
Agents will also be educated on the upcoming Heineken Regatta and Carnival, as well as an increased focus on the yachting segment.
The islands governments have teamed up with Delta Airlines and Delta Vacations in an effort to launch support for the new non-stop Atlanta-St. Maarten/St. Martin flight, which debuted in December 2002.


Agents will have the opportunity to meet the island’s tourism delegates, hoteliers ,US representatives and suppliers at the breakfast and dinner seminars at a variety of locations from Atlanta to Chicago.
