Divi Resorts Announces Management Changes.

Divi Resorts, one of the Caribbeans leading hotel and timeshare companies, has announced management changes. The company has announced the departure of President Paula A. Smith,
who served the company since 1999.


Smith will be replaced by Ray L. Hobbs, currently Divi’s Chief Operating Officer, who has also been appointed to Divi’s Board of Directors. In his new expanded capacity Mr. Hobbs will be responsible for the companies resort operations and timeshare sales in Barbados, Cayman Brac
and St. Maarten, as well as the operations of Divi’s coporate office in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Prior to joining Divi in 2002, Mr. Hobbs served in management roles with hotels and resorts across the US.


Additionally it has been announced that Alex Nieuwmeyer will be responsible for the companies
operations and timeshare sales in Aruba and Bonaire as well as the two Divi-branded hotels in Aruba.

Divi Resorts operates nine resorts on six Caribbean islands including Divi Village Resort, Divi Dutch Village Resort and Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort in Aruba; Divi Southwinds Beach Resort and Divi Heritage Beach Resort in Barbados; Divi Flamingo Beach Resort and Casino in Bonaire; Divi Tiara Beach Resort in Cayman Brac; Divi Carina Bay Beach Resort and Casino in St. Croix, USVI; and Divi Little Bay Beach Resort in St. Maarten.

There are also two Divi-branded all inclusive hotels in Aruba, the Divi Aruba Beach Resort Mega All Inclusive and the Tamarijn Aruba Beach Resort Mega All Inclusive.
