Scuba Diving Magazine voted Bonaire the Top Dive destination in the Caribbean/Atlantic in the 2003 Readers Choice Awards.

Bonaire received the number 1 rating for the Caribbean/Atlantic in 7 out of 15 categories. Bonaire was also voted the number 2 top snorkeling destination, the number 2 destination that people would return to, and the number 3 spot for best underwater visibility.
