Half Moon Golf, Tennis & Beach Club in Montego Bay, Jamaica, has announced that Katia Coric, internationally-known artist, will be conducting art classes at Half Moon from January 11 to January 25 and again from February 22 to March 8.  The classes, open to children and adults, will be held Monday through Friday of those weeks on Half Moonå‘s Seagrape Terrace from 10:00 to 11:30 and 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

Beginners and avid artists alike interested in learning new techniques will find art lessons in this beautiful venue to be beneficial.  While Ms. Coric’s painting style is best described as “pop-art” with colorful and exciting themes that explore modern culture, she also excels in the traditional styles of painting and drawing and works in all mediums.  She holds a special passion for the chiaroscuro technique and is an expert color mixer and advisor.  As a teacher, she transfers her knowledge to others with patience and ease.

Originally from Dubronik, Croatia, Ms. Coric now resides in Montreal where she is a rising star in the art world.  Many of her paintings are in private and public collections in Croatia, Montreal and New York.
