åá DIVI HOTELS WITH 240 ADDITIONAL ROOMS AND A 9 HOLE GOLF COURSE !!
Recently Arubaå‘s Prime Minister, Mr. Nelson Oduber signed an agreement together with Minister Marisol Tromp and Minister Edison Briesen, approving hereby the expansion of an additional 240 rooms and the building of a new 9 holes golf course. Total investment of both projects is 40 million dollars. Mr. Alex Nieuwmeyer, G.M. of the Divi Hotels is eager to start with the projects.

á AQUA MARINA BAY ADDS NEW VISUAL DIMENSION TO ORANJESTAD HARBOUR:
Aqua Marina Bay, located in the heart of Oranjestad, will change the view at the harbour area. This $ 17 million project will consist of a shopping mall, offices, restaurants and upscale condominiums. The completion is scheduled around the end of 2003.


á PIZZAHUT ARUBA EXPANDING TO ONE OF THE LARGEST RESTAURANTS IN THE REGION: Pizzahut Aruba will become the largest within the region. The total expansion has a cost of Afls 500.000,- and this new part of the restaurant will house additional seating facilities and more importantly, a state of the art and totally up to date with international safety standards modern play ground.

á UNITED AIRLINES SOON TO START FLIGHTS FROM WASHINGTON DC TO ARUBA:
United Airlines recently announced that they would initiate a seasonal new direct service from Washington’s Dulles Airport to Aruba. This new service is planned to start on December 14th and will continue until April 26, 2002. An airbus A-320 will be used with two types of class service. This weekly flight will depart from Washington on Saturday, at 8:40 am, arriving in Aruba at 12:12 pm and will depart at 4:40 pm and arrive in Washington DC at 8:30 pm.
