Caribbean Star’s CEO, Paul Moreira has announced that the airline will offer 50% off tickets to employees in the hotel industry. Moreira says that the airline recognizes the importance of these workers in the general operating of the hotel business and feels that they too should reap the benefits of affordable travel. Interestingly, this 50% discount is offered to employees at all levels. This will certainly open a world of opportunities for persons who in the past may have found regional travel impossible.

Director of Marketing, Sandra Scotland feels that this move is just another way of showing the airline’s appreciation for the hard work and dedication that hotel workers have undertaken in the region. “They are the ones who make visitors to our islands comfortable and welcome, yet they themselves often never get a chance to travel away from home and enjoy the islands’ beauty, diversity and attractions.”

Caribbean Star is happy to make such an offer and the CEO would like to encourage all hotel employees in the airline’s 14 destinations to travel while it is available. Now is the time to visit family and friends in the islands, take in the festivals, cr icket or simply hop to a nearby island just for fun.

One of the conditions of this offer is that travel is only valid between 1st September and 30th November. In addition to this, all bookings must be done at Caribbean Star locations or at the airport and must be accompanied with a letter of endorsement from the employees’ manager.
