P&O Cruises is launching three tactical campaigns to support a selection of its Caribbean, exotic and around the world cruises this coming winter. From 1 July, agents will be able to offer great deals on specified cruises, in a campaign that will be supported by advertising, direct mailing and tactical e-mail activity.
The `Caribbean Crackers` campaign features cruises on board Britain`s latest superliner, Oceana at 30% discount. Prices for Oceana`s `Mexican Magic` cruise holiday start at just £1,525. Passengers will fly from the UK on 15 November and join the ship in Fort Lauderdale. Oceana will then visit the Dutch Antilles, Cartagena, Colon, Limon, Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Princess Cays - a private island hide-away in the Bahamas. Oceana`s debut in the Caribbean highlights P&O Cruises` commitment to fly cruising, as the largest carrier of UK cruise passengers to the Caribbean.
The `Caribbean Crackers` campaign also features Arcadia`s exciting series of fly cruises to Central and South America. Passengers will experience some of the least visited places on earth, including an opportunity to visit Machu Pichu.
The `Autumn Escapes` campaign supports selected cruises, from September through to the end of the year, on P&O Cruises` Southampton departures all with a 30% discount. For example, the 9-night Canaries Magic cruise on Aurora departing 28 November has prices starting from just £909 after discount. Ports of call include Vigo, Lanzarote, Tenerife and Madeira.
The `Worldwide Adventures` promotional campaign, features savings of up to 45% on selected sectors of P&O Cruises 2003 around the world cruises on board Aurora and Oriana. For example, passengers can enjoy a 15-night cruise holiday travelling on Oriana from Southampton to Cape Town with prices in the `Worldwide Adventures` campaign from £1564. Alternatively passengers can travel in an easterly direction to San Francisco on Aurora with prices for the 22-night cruise starting from as low as £1911. These two cruises holidays depart from Southampton on 8 January and 6 January respectively and flights back to the UK are included in the price.
