Howard Johnson International Opens Fourth Caribbean Hotel

Howard Johnson International Inc. today announced the opening of its fourth Caribbean property, the Curaçao Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel & Casino in Curaçao, Dutch Antilles.

Located in the island capital of Willemstad, the $6.5 million new construction Curaçao Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel is owned by Americana Brionplein Inc. and operated by Brion Hotel Management Inc. and has the newest casino on the island.


Situated in the historic Otrobanda district, the hotel is surrounded by more than 50 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues. All 55 guest rooms overlook the Caribbean Sea, the hotel pool or the St. Ana Bay. The hotel`s Beach Club offers snorkeling, water-skiing and mountain-biking.
