US Airways Resume Flights To Bermuda

US Airways will resume daily nonstop service between its hub in Charlotte, N.C. and Bermuda effective June 16, 2002. The service is being restored to meet peak summer demand and is scheduled to operate through September 6, 2002.

US Airways will operate the service with its passenger-friendly, state-of-the-art, 120-seat Airbus A319 aircraft. The flight will depart Charlotte daily at 11:15 am, and will arrive in Bermuda at 2:52 pm. From Bermuda, the flight will depart at 3:50 pm, and will arrive in Charlotte at 5:33 pm.
From Charlotte, US Airways currently serves 10 markets in the Caribbean: Aruba, Cancun, Cozumel, Grand Bahama Island/Freeport, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, Nassau, San Juan, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten.

Charlotte is US Airways’ largest passenger hub with 505 daily departures to 104 destinations nonstop.

US Airways, the US Airways Express carriers, and US Airways Shuttle provide service to 205 destinations worldwide, including 38 states in the US, Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Bermuda, Cancun, Freeport, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, Nassau, San Juan, Santo Domingo, St. Lucia, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, and St. Croix. US Airways Express also serves North Eleuthera, Governors Harbour, Marsh Harbour, and Treasure Cay from Florida. In Canada, US Airways serves Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa. US Airways’ European destinations are Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Manchester, Munich, Paris, and Rome.
