HEDONISM III, the SuperClubs-managed hotel that last year ignited a storm of protest by staging a mass nude wedding, will tomorrow host a similar event at the resort in Runaway Bay.

SuperClubs senior executive, Zein Nakash, yesterday confirmed that 10 couples from the USA will say “I do” in the nude in another Valentine`s Day promotion.

“It was such a resounding success for Jamaica and Hedonism III last year and coupled with the numerous requests we had from couples who wanted to get married in the nude, we decided to do it again this year,” Nakash told the Observer yesterday.

Last year, 12 couples were involved in the nuptials that were heavily criticised by some church leaders, including a group of pastors that flew to Jamaica from New York.

Despite the protests, the event was covered by major media houses in the USA, England and Germany and, according to Nakash, the public relations generated by the wedding won for Hedonism III a Gold award from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI).
