SIA ‘Postpones’ Full Inflight Net Service Implementation.
In-flight Internet service Tested by Singapore Airlines Since April has been withdrawn.
SIA has joined FinnAir and SwissAir in postponing full implementation, however Air Canada, Varig and Virgin Atlantic continue to offer the access provided by Tenzing Communications.
Tenzing has laid off almost half of its 150 employees, and competitor Connexionby Boeing has reduced its 645 headcount by nearly 65 percent.
