Airtours has selected Worldspan to provide GDS services and other travel technology for all of Airtours` major brands throughout Europe, including Going Places, Jetset Tours & Flights, Tradewinds, Bridge, Cresta, FTi Touristik and Travel Trend.
The agreement—the largest of its kind for Worldspan in Europe—enables Airtours to utilize Worldspan`s leading-edge technologies in selling travel in the Pan-European market.

Airtours locations across Europe will use a range of Worldspan technology, customized and integrated to meet the needs of each brand. Worldspan solutions are being launched at Airtours locations in the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands, with the rollout expected to be complete by March 2002.

Worldspan products being implemented for Airtours include Worldspan Go!, Universal Messaging and Structured Messaging Interface (SMI).
