Amsterdam Under The Weather in February 2002

Weather trading and weather risk management is finally getting a grip in Europe, with more meteorological data available and an increasing number of exchanges, traders and brokers specialising in weather derivatives.

70% of European businesses are affected by the weather, and more and more companies are finding out how to offset their risk and turn it into profit. Those who haven’t need to do so - and fast.
