US Airways introduced new extended weekend bargain fares to Philadelphia where customers who purchase tickets
online through usairways.com can travel for as low as $138 roundtrip in some
markets.
 
US Airways also introduced special Saturday Shopping Fares, where
customers can travel from select cities in the eastern U.S. to Philadelphia
for $78 roundtrip.  For these fares, no advance purchase is required.  The
Shopping Fares are valid only for same-day Saturday travel on nonstop flights
Dec. 8, 15 and 29, 2001.  Some examples of cities with the $78 fares are
Albany, N.Y., Atlanta, Ga., Syracuse, N.Y., Richmond, Va., Washington (Reagan
National) and Pittsburgh.
 
The extended weekend fares are valid for travel in any of US Airways`
nearly 80 markets in the U.S. served nonstop daily to and from Philadelphia.
Travel must originate Thursday through Saturday with a return Sunday through
Tuesday.  All travel must be completed during the same weekend and no later
than March 19, 2002.  A Saturday night stay is required and tickets must be
purchased at least seven days before departure and no later than Dec. 21,
2001.

Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, historic sites, the Museum of Art, the
Franklin Institute, Penn`s Landing, dining at any of the city`s great
restaurants, or a shopping excursion,” said Stephen M. Usery, US Airways vice

for missing out on a visit to Philadelphia, one of the greatest cities in the
U.S.”

Depending on travel needs, flights may be
available at the same fares with part of the service on regional aircraft
operated by US Airways Express carriers Allegheny Airlines, Air Midwest,
CCAIR, Chautauqua Airlines, Colgan Air, Mesa, Piedmont Airlines, PSA, Shuttle
America or Trans States Airlines.
 
Tickets become nonrefundable 24 hours after making initial reservations
and under certain conditions can be changed for a minimum $100 fee, plus the
difference between the two fares, if applicable.
 
These sale fares do not include up to $9 in airport passenger facility
charges where applicable.  Fares do not include a federal excise tax of up to
$3, which will be added to each flight segment of each itinerary.  A flight
segment is defined as a takeoff and a landing.  Seats are limited and may not
be available on all Philadelphia flights.  Other conditions may apply and
schedules are subject to change.  These discount fares may not always be lower
than other US Airways Philadelphia fares.
 
In addition to these low Philadelphia fares, Dividend Miles members can
earn up to 20,000 bonus miles for these and subsequent tickets purchased
through usairways.com.  Members will earn 2,000 miles after the first
purchase, 3,000 miles after the second purchase, 4,000 miles after the third
purchase, 5,000 miles after the fourth purchase, and 6,000 miles after the
fifth purchase, all online.  To take advantage of this special offer, travel
must be completed by Feb. 28, 2002.  Registration is required before
departure.   
This special online mileage offer is available only for tickets purchased
through usairways.com and flown on US Airways, US Airways Shuttle and the US
Airways Express carriers between Nov. 26, 2001, and Feb. 28, 2002.  The bonus
miles include the standard 1,000-mile online booking bonus.  This offer does
not apply to tickets purchased through US Airways Vacations online or for US
Airways` discount E-Savers fares.  A maximum of 20,000 bonus miles can be
earned per member.  Bonus miles will appear in the respective Dividend Miles
account within three weeks upon completion of travel.  All Dividend Miles
