Amadeus announced today that Adam’s Mark Hotels and Resorts, one of the largest independently owned and operated companies in the hospitality industry, has selected the GDS to provide next-generation internet booking technology.
Once fully transitioned to Amadeus in early 2002, Adam’s Mark site users will benefit from several new services designed to enhance their online experience. Users will benefit from several new features including CRM tools for advanced and repeat bookers, online itinerary, rental car reservations, and the introduction of a secure client profile system, designed to speed the reservation process while ensuring accuracy and consistency of client data.
At the foundation of the new Adam’s Mark booking services will be Amadeus’ web-based reservation platform for online booking services. Built on open standards, Amadeus’ XML-based platform enables easy integration with other business systems and is fully customizable. The Amadeus reservation platform enables bookings, direct and real-time, via the Amadeus System, easy creation of complex travel itineraries featuring hotel and car bookings, e-mail booking confirmations, and more. Adam’s Mark will also benefit from Amadeus’ advanced TripFlow solution, an advanced Application Program Interface (API), allowing the hotelier to establish customized and secure interaction with the online booking engine for special clients, events, and Internet promotions.
