Worldspan has expanded has expanded the selection of Internet travel products available to Worldspan subscribers through Worldspan Go!.
Internet Associate Partnerships with Applause Theater and Entertainment and TravelSafe Insurance will enable Worldspan travel agents to access and book each company`s products using convenient connections via the Go! Resource Center. Applause Theater and Entertainment provides show and event tickets in New York, London, Toronto, and Las Vegas. The company offers theater tickets and sightseeing tours in London, theater and sports tickets in Toronto, shows in Las Vegas and theater, sports, concert tickets, sightseeing tours, hotel packages, opera, ballet, special events and transportation in New York. Applause also offers Internet specials for Broadway shows in New York, along with special deals on hotel accommodations for the next several months. Theater and opera tickets in Paris and Vienna will be added soon. Worldspan agents receive commissions for Applause orders booked through Go!.
TravelSafe Inc. offers travel insurance for residents of the United States and Canada traveling anywhere in the world. The company`s products include TravelSafe Vacation Insurance, an all-inclusive comprehensive policy; TravelMed, medical coverage for passengers traveling outside of their country of residence; and Insure-A-Flight, low-cost trip cancellation coverage for passengers purchasing non-refundable airline tickets. Worldspan agents receive commissions up to 25 percent on TravelSafe Vacation Insurance and up to 20 percent on other insurance coverage booked through the TravelSafe connection on Go!.
With the agreements, TravelSafe and Applause become the newest participants in Worldspan on the Web, Worldspan`s exclusive Web-based platform that integrates Internet travel content into the Go! reservations product. For added convenience, Worldspan on the Web automatically merges Internet-based reservations into a single traveler itinerary along with air, hotel, car and other bookings.
