Casto Travel, a top 30 corporate travel agency with USD 254 million in 2000 sales, has signed a service agreement with TRX, Inc. The agency is implementing TRX`s EnCoRRe service bureau, fully automating its transaction processing procedures for more than 300 corporate clients.
The EnCoRRe application`s unmatched combination of flexible routines and high-volume capacity make it the industry leader in mid-office quality control and reservation finishing. Four of the top six corporate travel agencies in the U.S. use the system. Despite the downturn in business travel, the EnCoRRe service bureau is on pace to process 30 million corporate bookings in 2002, an increase of more than 300% from 2000.
In addition to policy enforcement, the EnCoRRe system will automate ticketing procedures for the Santa Clara, California-based travel agency. TRX is finalizing a new mid-office service platform targeted at corporate travel agencies with annual ARC volume ranging from USD15 million to USD 350 million. The company anticipates a formal program launch in December.
