SynXis Selected to Manage Group Reservations Providing GDS Connectivity to Travellers

The Wilshire Grand chose SynXis, a leading provider of reservations technology in the
hospitality industry, to improve upon the current online reservation system, provide seamless GDS Connectivity, and add Group Block Functionality through SynXis Agent®.

Group Block Management, a recent addition to SynXis Agent, provides the Wilshire Grand and their Group customers with the ability to manage and maintain reservations through the Internet. The system gives planners access to group blocks and rooming lists online - saving time, labor, and reducing overall costs. Rooming lists can be entered directly from the Internet and individuals that are part of a group can now reserve their rooms from either the property`s Web site or the group`s Web site.

In addition to this added functionality, the Wilshire Grand will be using SynXis` Book-A-Rez® for reserving rooms directly on the Wilshire Grand`s Web site. Seamless connectivity to the four major GDS providers, Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan, and Amadeus supplies increased room detail to over 500,000 travel professionals worldwide. This also exposes the Wilshire Grand to the millions of consumers who book travel over the Internet through Travelocity, Expedia, and Orbitz.
