Datalex (Nasdaq: DLEX; ISE: DLE), a leading provider of technology solutions to the global travel and transportation industry, is pleased to announce that Michael Quinn has been appointed to its Board as a non-executive Director.

Mr. Quinn, a commerce graduate and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, is currently Chief Executive of ICC Bank. He will move to a non-executive role in the Bank in February 2002, having spent ten years as its CEO.

A former President of the Republic of Ireland Council of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Director of a number of ICC-related companies, Michael Quinn is also a Director of Power Leisure plc and is a Board Member of the Institute of Public Administration. Apart from ICC Bank plc and Power Leisure plc. Mr. Quinn has not been a director of any other publicly quoted company at any time in the last five years, and there are no disclosures to be made pursuant to 6.F.2 (b) -(g) of the Listing Rules.
