Atlanta-based Last Minute Travel Network has launched GO AMERICA, a dynamic collection of travel offers that highlights the most compelling US travel opportunities for travel right now—in one easy to find place.
GO AMERICA allows consumers to be continuously updated on the freshest travel offers in an environment where sales and pricing are changing by the minute in today`s hyper-spontaneous retail environment. More than 80% of consumers want to travel within two weeks and traffic to the site reflects that desire.
Traffic for the Last Minute Travel Network has not only rebounded since September 11, but has also increased by nearly 40%. In addition, the number of people shopping for travel within a 14-day time period has grown significantly. Prior to September 11, 51% of searches conducted across the Last Minute Travel Network were for travel within a 14-day period. After September 11, that number jumped to more than 82% of all searches conducted across the Last Minute Travel Network. GO AMERICA is one of several new features on the Last Minute Travel Network that makes it easier for consumers to find `breaking deals` as they are announced, as well as helping retailers market their most attractive offers.
