Worldspan Names Graham NicholsVice President, EMEA and Asia

Worldspan has appointed Graham Nichols to the position of vice president - Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia within the Company`s Worldwide Travel Distribution group.

Based in London, Nichols reports to Mike Parks, senior vice president and general manager - Worldwide Travel Distribution for Worldspan. Nichols will be in attendance at World Travel Market, 12-15 November, at Earls Court this year. Worldspan will be exhibiting at stand TT135 in the global village.


In his new position, Nichols oversees all aspects of sales, marketing, operations and customer service for Worldspan travel agency, e-commerce and corporate customers outside the Americas. He is also responsible for maintaining and building Worldspan`s business relationships throughout these key global regions. Based in London, Nichols reports to Mike Parks, senior vice president and general manager - Worldwide Travel Distribution for Worldspan.

Nichols joins Worldspan from Amadeus, where he served as managing director - UK and Ireland for the past four years. In that role he had responsibility for all Amadeus activities in the region, including sales, marketing, product delivery, finance, customer service and human resources.

Previously, Nichols worked for Exxon Corporation as manager - International Aviation and Marine, with full responsibility for the company`s aviation and marine fuels sales and operations. Earlier, he held a variety of positions within Exxon, including information technology management, operations, marketing and corporate planning.
