Passkey Enables 7 More Cites; Total Is Now 42

Passkey, Inc., the leading processor of group hotel reservations for the $96.4 billion meetings and conventions industry , has added seven more cities to its list of Passkey-enabled sm convention and visitor bureaus (CVBs).

Calgary, Ottawa, Santa Clara, Monterey, San Jose, Hartford and Ft. Lauderdale are the cities that contribute to a 20% increase in the Passkey CVB collection. In making the announcement, Tim Durant, Passkey executive vice president and general manager for North America, noted that 60% of the 42 cites now Passkey-enabled sm are among the Top 50 CVBs in the U.S.


“Passkey is quickly establishing itself as the technology standard for group housing management and distribution, and is taking that responsibility quite seriously in the industry,” he said. “We look forward to long and mutually profitable relationships with all of our partners.”


Ottawa (the Canadian national capital) and Calgary join Vancouver BC as international meetings destinations offering meeting planners the Passkey group housing management system. Ft. Lauderdale becomes the fourth Bureau in Florida, in addition to Greater Jacksonville and The Beaches, Tampa, and Orlando to be Passkey-enabled sm. Santa Clara, Monterey and San Jose join Long Beach and Anaheim as the most recent California cities to become Passkey-enabled sm.
