Springer-Miller Systems (SMS) announces its global partnership with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG) to install the SMS|Host Enterprise-wide Hospitality Management System in a number of their properties in both the United States and Asia.
Hong Kong-based MOHG currently operates a number of five-star properties in Asia, Europe and the United States.
SMS completed installation of its technology solutions in two Mandarin Oriental properties in the United States within the last year—the new Mandarin Oriental Miami, which opened in November of 2000, as well as at Turnberry Isle Resort and Club, both in Florida.
Most recently, the partnership included the installation of SMS products at two Mandarin Oriental properties in Asia: the Excelsior Hotel and their flagship property, Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. The installation of both Hong Kong-based hotels was completed in September by a combination team of Springer-Miller Systems staff from the United States as well as from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The corporate goal of MOHG is to take technology to a higher level by working with their technology partners to provide an environment that promotes cooperation and joint development. Springer-Miller Systems is working with MOHG to expand the traditional integration levels to allow for a very high level of enterprise-wide guest services.
