Hilton Hotels Corporation is providing property information to the WorldRes.com`s growing network of more than 2,000 distribution associates around the world.
Properties within the Hilton family of hotels may now take online bookings from WorldRes` network of major web portals, travel sites, destination sites, and other web-based sellers of travel. This WorldRes connection also provides properties a cost-effective channel with automatic updates, availability and pricing from Hilton`s central reservation system.
“The real-time connectivity and single-image inventory made available through Hilton`s relationship with WorldRes.com enable Hilton to sell more rooms through an easy-to-manage, lower-cost channel of distribution,” commented VP of Hotel Sales at WorldRes.com Don Smith.
“WorldRes.com also bypasses the less cost effective intermediaries and doesn`t require separate inventory management,” said John Banczak, VP of Distribution at WorldRes. “We make it easy for properties to sell rooms by automating all facets of our business exchanges with Hilton Hotels Corporation, including the updating of availability, rates and descriptive information.”
“The WorldRes network, with its broad array of online travel distribution channels, complements and enhances our Internet strategy, and allows us to reach untapped sources of reservation revenue,” said Bruce Rosenberg, Senior Vice President e-business for Hilton Hotels Corporation. “Our link will simplify our business done through the WorldRes` network and will instantly expand our reach among the 21 million consumers that buy travel online.”
