Momentous $200 Million Development over a Decade for Boca Raton

Located in the heart of Florida`s Gold Coast in Palm Beach County, the Boca Raton Resort & Club is one of Americaå‘s premier resort destinations. Set within a backdrop of beautiful casual elegance, Boca`s amenities include a new 50,000 sq-ft spa; two eighteen-hole championship golf courses, recently renovated at a cost of $10 million; 30 tennis courts; several pools; state-of-the-art fitness centres; a half-mile stretch of private beach; and a variety of water sport activities.
The Yacht Club, featuring 112 waterfront guestrooms and suites, was opened this year, and the acclaimed property also recently completed an $18 million guestroom renovation.

The new Spa Palazzo at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, is designed to replicate paradise on earth and embraces the ambience of a Spanish legendary palace, both structurally and through specialty services and amenities. The elegant sanctuary of health and rejuvenation features 22 treatment suites, an opulent wet room, an eclectic menu of spa treatments, sunning terraces and palatial gardens featuring waterfall whirlpools and a spa pool with underwater music.

The spa structure is designed after Spain’s intriguing Moorish-style Alhambra Palace and features dozens of architectural surprises intended to stimulate guests’ sense of sight. Exposed cedar-beam ceilings, two-story arched Cathedral windows, a two-story fireplace, columns, handcrafted colorful tiles, detailed ceramic work designed by craftsman in Alhambra, intricate stonework, mahogany and cypress woodwork, and even a hand-painted rotunda just beyond the spa entrance all enhance the guests’ journey of discovery.

Spa Palazzo’s eclectic menu combines progressive techniques with regional Native American healing rituals, local resources and standard European spa therapies. Individual and couples massage, balneotherapy, hydrotherapy, body exfoliation, wraps, masques and facials use extracts from herbs and flowers used in Seminole Indian healing rituals, as well as seaweed, sea salts and Florida citrus.
Spa Palazzo’s signature features include an authentic Trilogy Programme, a restorative water ritual, and five specialty spa treatments.
The Trilogy Programme encourages a well-rounded spa lifestyle with a medley of three treatments - mineral bath, massage and body exfoliation - designed to remineralise, nourish and balance the body. Each trilogy includes a take-away product to continue the programme benefits at home.
Spa Palazzo’s menu includes three trilogies: mineral, herbal, and sea.  The restorative water ritual is presented in a luxurious terme (wet room) and is inspired by Spanish explorer Ponce de Leon’s search for the mystical fountain of youth. Within each wet room - one for men and one for women - are nine private, aromatic mineral baths; a whirlpool; Swiss and deluge (waterfall) showers; and steam, sauna and inhalation rooms. The ritual includes relaxation exercises and aromatherapy masques in the inhalation room; a detoxification, rejuvenation or relaxation soak in the spa baths; and leisurely use of the wet room facilities. With Spa Palazzo’s signature treatments, the water ritual is free of charge. Signature treatments include the Florida Citrus Scrub, Coco Mango Scrub, Florida C Facial, Palazzo Swedish Massage, and Palazzo Stone Therapy.

Spa guests may also take advantage of two sunning terraces, the elegant Great Room with fireplace, spa retail boutique, juice bar featuring light menu of healthy cuisine, locker rooms, and a lush courtyard replete with tranquil gardens, waterfall whirlpools and a private spa pool featuring underwater music.
Other activities at the resort include; the fitness centre, comprising three state-of-the-art fitness arenas offering a comprehensive selection of exercise equipment and a wide array of aerobics and specialised classes, while the golf experience at the resort is highlighted by two championship 18-hole golf courses and a new golf clubhouse.
