For the second year in a row, InternetWeek magazine has named Alaska Air Group as one of the top 100 e-businesses in the U.S.
InternetWeek selected Alaska Air Group following a survey and an analysis of its effectiveness in using the Internet to achieve tangible business benefits. According to the magazine, the survey was designed to measure e-business performance and results, not just evaluate Internet-related technology investments. Alaska Air Group is the holding company for Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air.
15% of Alaska`s business is booked on the Web. Other airlines to make the 2001 list were American, Delta and Southwest.
