easyJet has just reached an important landmark in the airline’s history by selling one million seats online.

The seat was purchased by Ms P Tookey of West London, and she is now the lucky winner of unlimited free flights for a whole year!

easyJet announced on 16 September that it would award this prize to the person who purchased the millionth seat, and anticipated that the sale would happen some time in early November. However, due to the phenomenal success of Internet sales in the last couple of weeks, when at one point over 60% of all seats were sold online, easyJet has reached this milestone sooner than predicted.
