Starwood Selects Infotriever To Enhance Service To Online Customers

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., one of the world’s largest hotel and leisure companies with more than 725 hotels in 80 countries, has chosen Infotriever, Inc., (, the leader in personal organizer integration, as a strategic solution that will allow consumers to download hotel reservation details directly into their personal desktop calendars.
The Infotriever personal calendar integration tool will allow Starwood users of Microsoft?’ Outlook?’, Lotus Notes?’, Palm OS?’ handheld devices and Act!? 2000 to effortlessly integrate their hotel reservation information from the Starwood Web site directly where they need the information the most - their personal desktop organizer.
For example, travelers who book online from the Starwood Web site will be able to capture the reservation information directly from the Web into their choice of personal desktop organizer. For travelers booking by phone, Starwood will send a confirmation email from the reservation center that will allow the traveler to execute the automatic download as well.
