Gocruisedirect.Com Signs Distribution Agreement For Carnival Corporation`s Six Brands

GoCruiseDirect.com, a leading cruise distribution technology company, has signed an agreement with Carnival Corporation, the world`s largest cruise operator, to provide travel agents the ability to book Carnival`s six operating brands through the innovative Cruise Path Network Internet-based booking system.
Cruise Path Network utilizes a convenient Web-based platform that provides travel agents with direct real-time booking capability and is particularly beneficial to non-ARC travel agents, cruise-only agencies, home-based travel agents and others who do not have access to an airline-based on-line reservations system.
The agreement between GoCruiseDirect.com and Carnival Corporation will provide travel agents with Web-based access to the cabin inventory for all of the cruise operator`s six brands, which include Carnival, Costa, Cunard, Holland, Seabourn, and Windstar, encompassing a broad range of cruise styles and amenities. Collectively, Carnival Corporation`s fleet is comprised of 45 vessels totalling more than 60,000 lower berths.
“We`re very pleased that Carnival Corporation has signed on as our distribution partner and this new agreement will enable GoCruiseDirect.com to expand its wide-ranging cruise inventory to better serve the travel agent community,” said John Stewart, president and CEO of GoCruiseDirect.com.
Added Ken Dubbin, Carnival Corporation`s vice president of corporate development, “We strive to make the reservations process as easy as possible and GoCruiseDirect.com`s user-friendly Web-based platform will allow travel agents to access our six leading cruise brands quickly and efficiently while maintaining their normal commission structure.”
In addition to the six companies that comprise Carnival Corporation, GoCruiseDirect.com offers access to a variety of cruise operators, providing travel agents with Web-based booking capability for the majority of the existing cruise industry capacity.
