Affinity International Travel Systems, a travel technology, content and fulfillment company, has signed an agreement with AirTreks.com of San Francisco, California for a co-branded version of AirTreks` TripPlanner 3.0 technology, and will add this technology to Affinity`s travel website, faraway.com.
Constructing and pricing Multi-stop international air itineraries has traditionally been a long, complex and highly manual process - usually the exclusive domain of select airline rate desks and international airfare experts. AirTreks will create a co-branded website for use by Affinity`s clients looking for Multi-Stop Itineraries.
TripPlanner 3.0 is the first and only tool that lets users create customised multi-stop international itineraries and get instant prices - with one click of the mouse. TripPlanner will provide an automated international rate desk at the fingertips of FarAway.com`s clients.
The TripPlanner engine builds on the advanced knowledge-base design model and sophisticated Java technology that AirTreks has been using for years to effectively replicate the manual process of constructing and pricing complex itineraries.
