Frasers unwraps Edinburgh property

Frasers Hospitality has extended its footprint in the United Kingdom with the opening of Fraser Suites Edinburgh, comprising 75 luxury serviced residences located on the city’s prestigious ‘Royal Mile’. The Edinburgh property is Singapore-based Frasers Hospitality’s second property in Scotland and its twelfth in the UK. The first was the 100-unit Fraser Suites Glasgow which opened in 2007.

Fraser Suites Edinburgh captures the spirit of Edinburgh’s illustrious history in studio and one-bedroom apartments created within the 200-year-old former Edinburgh City Council building.

Careful renovation has protected the building’s historic Victorian façade with interior restoration, where possible, to preserve the past, while interiors remodelling provides the latest in luxury accommodation for business and leisure travellers.

Standard features include iPod docking stations and broadband Internet access, an on-site gym, breakfast suite, restaurant and a complimentary city shuttle service.

To celebrate the launch, special rates of 96 GBP per night for a studio and 157 GBP per night for a one-bedroom unit will apply until 21 June 2009.
