Travelport wins Virgin deal

Travelport GDS has signed a new multi-year full content agreement with Virgin Atlantic, giving all Galileo and Worldspan-connected travel agents access to the airline’s full published fares and inventory.The global agreement, which also includes access to the airline’s lowest web fares, extends the long-standing relationship between the two organisations.

Jon Harding, General Manager International & Distribution, Virgin Atlantic, said, “Agents remain an essential part of our multi-channel distribution strategy as we look to build and grow.

Travelport’s Galileo and Worldspan GDS platforms offer us exceptional reach and we are delighted to continue our close working relationship.”
