IBEROSTAR Hotels & Resorts has opened its latest property, the five star IBEROSTAR Bellis in Turkey. The hotel chain now has a presence in 16 countries.Just a 4 hour plane ride from the UK, British travellers looking for a place to relax could soon be soaking up the ocean views whilst enjoying this oasis of relaxation. The recently refurbished hotel, which reopened in April 2009, is the latest addition to IBEROSTAR’s growing portfolio.
Located directly on the sandy beach of Belek and surrounded by well-kept gardens with exotic palm trees and pine trees, the IBEROSTAR Bellis is just 5km away from the town of Kadriye which offers great shopping, many restaurants, and warm Turkish hospitality. The hotel features 600 tastefully decorated rooms including standard rooms, bungalows, family rooms and junior suites.
The all-inclusive hotel has its own shopping center and supermarket, Wi-fi in the lobby area. Facilities also include three outdoor pools, one indoor pool and one with a water chute, as well as a spa and wellness centre complete with a sauna, a Turkish bath and a range of massage treatments. There is also a conference room that can accommodate up to 200 persons - making this hotel a great choice for business travellers too.
Guests can enjoy fine dining at a choice of five themed restaurants with continentally-inspired cuisine including Italian, Mexican, Fish and Chinese. There is also an a la carte restaurant as well as a buffet restaurant. There are also two snack bars, one by the pool and another by the beach, for those guests looking for a quick bite.
The resort also features a fantastic variety of sports activities from tennis courts, table tennis and beach volleyball, to football, aqua-gym and minigolf. Golf enthusiasts who are keen to explore the area can make the most of the six nearby golf courses.
The Mini Club is great for children between 4 and 11 while the Junior Club caters for young teenagers between 12 and 16. Kids can also have fun on the Mini Cars or the Midilli Horse within the resort (both at extra charge) or, if they like animals, there is a mini-zoo and a pony centre nearby, making the resort an all-round fantastic escape for families on holiday.
