Ryanair announces its 107th destination

Ryanair has announced its 107th destination from London Stansted Airport to Memmingen (West Munich) with 10 flights a week starting from May 1.Memmingen Airport provides a low-cost alternative to Munich Airport and is ideal for exploring Munich and the surrounding Bavarian countryside .This new service will deliver over 140,000 additional passengers through London Stansted during these turbulent times.

Ryanair will keep people flying in and out of London Stansted by offering great destinations at the guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges. With airports across the UK struggling to maintain passenger figures due to a downturn in the economy and ludicrous tourist taxes, Ryanair calls on Gordon Brown to support the tourism sector by repealing the nonsensical tourist tax.

Speaking today, Ryanair’s Laura McCormack said: “Ryanair is delighted to add this exciting new route from our base at London Stansted airport. Memmingen Airport is a great low cost alternative to Munich Airport, where Ryanair will offer passengers the guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges.

“Ryanair is celebrating the announcement by knocking 50% off its 1 million lowest fares for travel across its European network in April, May and June.
