TRAVELfusion, a London based industry leader in direct connect distribution technologies announced today a multi-year distribution agreement with Air Canada that provides TRIPplannerXML - the world’s largest travel direct connect web distribution and trip planning platform - with access to all of Air Canada’s innovative à-la-carte fare products, product attributes and Flight Passes.
TRAVELfusion will use Air Canada’s latest technology, the ac2u direct connect platform, to expand the significant content already available in TRIPplannerXML and to build on its value proposition of a single interface for business and leisure agencies and e-commerce services to search and book on 150+ travel suppliers.
This latest addition to the ac2u direct connect will provide agencies and web based suppliers that uses TRIPplannerXML with the ability to support all of Air Canada’s branded fare family products, the purchase of “a la carte” attributes and the booking and management of Air Canada’s award winning Flight Pass product.
While travel content remains fragmented, TRAVELfusion provides the most cost efficient solution for airlines and rail suppliers to distribute their content worldwide and for agencies and e-commerce services to access the suppliers best fares from a single interface and integrate seamlessly with their own applications.
