Best Western launches spa brand

Best Western is to launch a specially-created in-house spa brand, ‘Bhuvana, my spa’. The spas will start to be featured in Best Western properties across Asia, starting this year. The word “bhuvana” in Sanskrit refers to “The Earth” or “Universe”.Bhuvana will be exclusively available in Best Western hotels and resorts. The spa menu will offer a variety of treatments, including Bhuvana Signature Massage, Balinese Aromatherapy Massage, Thai Massage, Feet Reflexology, Bhuvana Hand Treatment, and Bhuvana Feet Treatment.

“Bhuvana allows us to offer our guests something extra special to enhance their stay with us,” said Best Western International Vice President International Operations Asia, Glenn de Souza. “At the same time, from a business perspective, the spas create an additional profit center for our member hotels. This will bring them more revenue per guest as well as more actual customers.”

The goal is for every Best Western Premier property in Asia to have a Bhuvana Spa.
“The spa adds extra depth and character to the quality of experience enjoyed by our hotel guests,” said BWI Asia - Spa Operations Manager, Lorievelle Valeriano. “When hotels don’t offer a spa, their guests seek out treatments elsewhere as part of their leisure and relaxation itinerary.”
