Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort unveiled

Palace Resorts is opening the New Moon Casino Golf and Spa Resort this month.

The new five star, all-inclusive resort is located in the east on Macao Beach, Dominican Republic, one of the most picturesque beaches in the world. It will be the largest resort in Punta Cana. Ocean fronted, it will offer high end luxury at affordable prices for adventurous holiday makers coming to discover the effervescent spirit of Dominican culture.
“The addition of Moon Palace Casino, Golf & Spa Resort marks another exciting chapter in the development of Palace Resorts,” said Roberto Chapur, President of Palace Resorts. “This stunning property will offer guests a luxurious all-inclusive alternative while vacationing in the Dominican Republic.”

The resort will accommodate 1,791 rooms each with double Jacuzzis and spectacular balconies over looking either the crystal waters of the Caribbean Ocean or on the other side, the resorts own private lagoon.

The resort offers 13 outdoor pools, with spectacular views and swim up bars. It is predicted to have 11 restaurants including Mexican, International, Italian, Oriental, Seafood and Brazilian, 12 bars, a theatre, a state-of-the-art spa, 18-hole championship golf course (designed by universally renowned golfer Jack Nicklaus) and a 45,000sq ft casino as well as a fully choreographed Dolphinarium, Dominican Safari, Animal Park, nightclub and river that meanders sleepily the resort.

The Spa consists of a staggering 35 treatment rooms and is dedicated to the rejuvenation of mind body and soul. There are numerous treatments, massages and beauty packages to choose from including hydrotherapy, balneotherapy and bath therapies. Also on offer are two Golden VIP Suites, and one of the world’s most complete water journeys or hydrotherapy circuits.

The Water Journey Facility includes contrast lagoons with varying temperatures, two whirlpools, colour therapy, clay steam room, ice room, sensory experience deluge shower, foot creek pathway, hydro-reflexology and a sensory experience pool. Additional services include a Beauty Salon with 17 pedicure and 10 manicure stations, hair and shampoo stations, kids’ salon services and one wedding suite.

For those needing a more conventional space to hire for business meetings or social gatherings, the resort will also feature a 600,000 sq ft convention center with a 2,560 capacity. The space features individual lighting, audio control, wireless internet and digital display board.
