Emirates has extended its Official Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Sponsorship until 2014. The airline has been a sponsor of PSG since 2005 and the main shirt sponsor since 2006.Highly visible Emirates branding will continue in the club’s world famous, Parc des Princes stadium, as well as the Fly Emirates logo on the team shirts.

PSG has been an integral part of French football’s long and illustrious history, and it is one of the only French clubs to have never been relegated from the highly competitive Championnat de France Ligue 1, France’s top professional football league.

Boutros Boutros, Emirates’ Senior Vice President, Media Relations, Sponsorships and Events, said, “These are really exciting times for PSG and Emirates Airline, and that is why we are pledging our support to the club and its formidable legion of fans across France. At Emirates, we want to connect PSG fans both in France and across the world.”

Paris Saint-Germain is one of many successful Emirates sport sponsorships in France, which include last year’s hugely successful IRB Rugby World Cup, as well as the kit sponsor for the IRB Elite Referees Panel.

The airline currently connects travellers to over 100 destinations in more than 60 countries around the world, and operates twice daily between Dubai and Paris, as well as three times a week between Dubai and Nice, which will increase to five non-stop flights to Nice on 1st December.
