Finnair and its oneworld alliance partner British Airways have started codeshare flights between Bangkok in Thailand and Sydney in Australia. The code-share flights are operated with both Finnair and British Airways flight numbers. At the moment Finnair flies to Bangkok twice a day.
“The cooperation enables Finnair to offer its customers more choices to Australia. The connections at Bangkok airport are very convenient”, said Director, Commercial Partnerships, Mikko Komi from Finnair’s Alliances and International Relations Department.
The cooperation adds to the choices Finnair can offer for Australian and Finnish travellers via its Asian gateways Bangkok, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Mumbai, Delhi and Seoul.
