Princess d’Annam resort opens doors

The Princess d’Annam Resort and Spa has opened in Ke Ga, providing travelers an exclusive escape to an all-villa luxury boutique resort, designed with a mix of post-colonialist ambiance and modernist sensibility.South of Phan Thiet and easily accessible by car from Ho Chi Minh City, Ke Ga’s pristine white sand beaches complement sand dunes evocative of the Sahara. Distinguished by a classic 19th century lighthouse that continues operation in view of the resort, the area is also home to a picturesque traditional fishing village where little has given way to modernity.

The Princess features 57 villas, including two-bedroom beachfront homes with private pools, designed by renowned architect Tan Hock Benh. Landscaped by Alan W. Carle, the grounds are lush with interplay of color and texture as intimate pathways open up to the stunning ocean framed in a motif of archways. Four generous swimming pools and 21 plunge pools grace the 45-acre resort, which also features a five-star restaurant fusing Vietnam’s rich culinary heritage and French gastronomy.

A destination unto itself, the Princess Spa sits on the ocean’s edge and offers comprehensive services for any need. Open spaces of light and fresh air surround the individual treatment rooms, specifically outfitted for all of the world’s major massage techniques, body scrubs, and other indulgences. The Spa provides separate wings for men and women; couples can enjoy the VIP suites, available for overnight stay, boasting a tub for two, in-room treatment, and stunning ocean views. Immaculately trained therapists employ Asia’s exotic natural ingredients to instill well-being and relaxation at the Princess.
