Beachcomber opens new spa in Mauritius

Beachcomber has unveiled a new Wellness Centre at its Le Mauricia hotel in Mauritius. This completes the final phase of the hotel’s refurbishment programme, which includes a family apartment complex, two new roof-top honeymoon suites, new restaurants and redesigned public areas.Set in the hotel’s tropical gardens, the exterior design concept for the Wellness Centre has a Mediterranean and Moroccan theme. Centred around a symmetrical reflection pool, the ten treatment rooms are linked together by a series of arches opening out onto the pool.

A range of traditional and Ayurvedic treatments are available using products by Mineral Care from Israel and local massage and essential oils.

Adjoining Le Mauricia’s Wellness Centre is a new Sports Centre with a cardio room, fitness room, hammam, sauna, three floodlit tennis courts and HEAD pro-shop.
