Moneydirect confirms Sabre Pacific deal

Moneydirect has extended its leadership in Asia-Pacific through the successful implementation of Sabre Pacific travel agency collections and disbursements. The migration to Moneydirect enables Sabre Pacific to fully automate payments to and from its agency community.

This implementation further establishes Moneydirect as the industry standard for payments in the travel industry. This marks the extension of Moneydirect’s business-to-business payment hub beyond travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers and product providers to also include companies that supply other essential business services to the travel industry.

“As a wholesaler, we need the facility to receive payments from agencies urgently which has sometimes been an issue in the past. Since switching over to Moneydirect, payments have been processed promptly and efficiently. We’re definitely glad we registered!” says David Knight, Managing Director of Philippine Holidays.

Over 1,000 Australian and New Zealand Sabre-connected travel agencies are now utilizing Moneydirect to track, manage, and reconcile all payments and collections exchanged with Sabre Pacific in a flexible, easy-to-use solution. These travel agencies are now part of a network of over 6,000 travel agencies, wholesalers and product providers who already utilize Moneydirect’s secure, multi-channel, automated payment solutions.

“The Sabre Pacific migration is another example of the extensibility of our solution. It is representative of our significant innovation in our pursuit to offer customers an ‘all of business’ global payment and reconciliation solution,” says James Filsinger, CEO of Moneydirect.
