The Travel Zone, a provider of agency technology solutions, has announced the integration of a web-based office suite into its technology platform.The new offerings, created via a partnership with online collaborative application vendor www.Zoho.com, include online creation and editing of Microsoft Word and Excel documents, to be followed shortly by PowerPoint.
“Our goal in the coming months is to dramatically enhance the value and functionality our technology platform offers travel agencies,” said William Almonte, The Travel Zone president and CEO. “Zoho is the market leader for online apps—they enable us to provide a powerful mix of productivity tools for travel agencies.”
The Travel Zone designed its new package to help agencies and staff more easily create, edit and manage their business documents online. Upcoming enhancements will provide even more collaboration and deeper integration with the CRM.
However, the comprehensive suite of office applications offers value in more than just productivity—the package is included free of charge to Agent RC subscribers. This represents a potential savings of several hundred dollars in commercial office software.
Almonte says the offerings won’t end there. The Travel Zone and Zoho are working together to integrate additional Zoho apps in the coming months, including Zoho Invoice, Zoho Meeting, Zoho Show, Zoho Chat, Zoho Creator and more.
This web-based, hosted solution offers any size travel agency a completely turnkey system to manage host/fulfillment operations at an affordable monthly subscription cost, which the agency can then resell.
The platform is specifically designed to work with agencies that already have their own ARC, IATA or CLIA number. Agencies can enhance their existing host program or start a new one. Agent RC offers a robust infrastructure for dramatically growing an outside sales force.
