Visitors to www.directline-holidays.co.uk will be able to view videos of its 1,000 most popular hotels after completing a holiday search. Another 1,000 are being filmed in summer 2008.The videos, produced by Trailstream, are each around 1 minute in length and currently appear on the most commonly searched hotels at directline-holidays.co.uk, ranging from 2 - 5 star properties. After completing a holiday search, users are able to see firsthand what their hotel and its surrounding areas will look like.
directline-holidays.co.uk sales director Matthew Flint said: “With video content, you can gain a real insight into a hotel, its facilities and immediate surroundings. Most importantly, this feature will help customers to answer the significant question of whether that holiday is right for them.”
The video guides which have been produced to broadcast standards by Trailstream, not only allow customers to view the hotel, both inside and out, but also enable them to hear about its amenities, room facilities, how suitable it is for couples or families with young children, as well as information on the hotel cuisine and whether it is well situated for local attractions.
