TravelCLICK has announced that its President and CEO, Robert Post, was honoured as a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year award in the Midwest region. Selected by a panel of regional business, community and academic leaders, the winners of the regional award will be announced on June 26 at a gala event at the Hilton Chicago. Those selected will be in consideration for the national Entrepreneur Of The Year program, awarded in Palm Springs, California on November 15, 2008.
The awards are given to individuals who exhibit high levels of success in the areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
“Being recognized by Ernst & Young as one of the top entrepreneurs of the year is quite an honor, and it really speaks volumes about what each employee at TravelCLICK is doing to deliver innovative, performance-based ecommerce solutions to our clients in the hospitality industry,” said TravelCLICK’s Robert Post.
The identification of top regional entrepreneurs is the concluding event of Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum which gathers together the top growing and industry-leading companies in the nation. Celebrating its 22nd anniversary, the awards have evolved to distinguish business leaders in more than 135 cities in 50 countries around the globe.
“These finalists are the best of the best, embodying the unique spirit of entrepreneurism,” said Randall Tavierne, Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Markets Leader for the Midwest. “They positively impact our region in a major way, through jobs, community growth and development and innovation. Ernst & Young is proud to salute them.”
