Pamela Anderson to attend charity gala at Emirates Palace

Emirates Palace is playing host to a charity event for the Make-a-Wish Foundation (MAWF) on May 31, with Pamela Anderson and Montell Jordan set to attend.Under the patronage of H.H Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saif Al Nayan, the Make-a-Wish Foundation is an international non-profit organisation dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of children living with life-threatening illness in over 33 countries worldwide.

The MAWF in the UAE is currently working to grant the wishes of 39 locally residing children, and is seeking the support of the local community through donations and sponsorship, to make their dreams come true.  Saturday’s event is one of the first in a series of initiatives to raise funds for the charity.

“Our mission is to bring joy into the lives of these very special children who are a shining example of strength and courage.  With the assistance of international celebrities, we are raising awareness of Make-A-Wish Foundation in the United Arab Emirates, and in doing so we hope to attract generous support from the local community,” said H.H Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saif Al Nayan.

With international stars such as Pamela Anderson and Montell Jordan participating, the glittering cocktail evening will be a night to remember.  Superb entertainment from Radio One DJ’s will keep the crowd buzzing, with the highlight of the evening being a spectacular charity auction. A stunning diamond necklace and a dinner with Ms. Anderson will be auctioned to the highest bidder, with all proceeds going to the Foundation.
