Murcia is easyJet’s 17th destination from Newcastle and with prices from £46.98 return (including taxes) makes a summer break to the sun in 2008 affordable for the whole family. easyJet’s low-fares and direct flights enables travellers to experience the city’s beautiful 18th century architecture or feel the golden sand between their toes, all within a few hours of leaving the UK. easyJet expects to carry 41,000 passengers on this new route in the first 12 months of operation.

“Murcia is already a popular destination from other easyJet bases in the UK and now travellers from the north east can take advantage of one of the most popular destinations on the east coast of Spain. Forward bookings for the route have been very strong, which further proves the demand for direct low fare flights from Newcastle to the sun.”
