AVIAREPS wins Caribbean Airlines deal

AVIAREPS has been appointed by Caribbean Airlines as their General Sales Agent (GSA) in Venezuela.As yet the world’s leading airline and tourism representative was already contracted in Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, Benelux, Switzerland, France and Germany. The account of the newly founded carrier from Trinidad and Tobago will be managed from the GSA’s subsidiary in Caracas. From this city Caribbean Airlines starts daily with a Dash 8-300 to Port of Spain (Trinidad). The mentioned flight takes approximately one and a half hours. Responsible for all operations carried out in Venezuela is Paul Eggenschwiler Mondolfi, General Manager of the AVIAREPS office in Caracas.

Caribbean Airlines, the carrier of the twin-island republic Trinidad and Tobago, currently serves eleven destinations in the Caribbean, North and South America as well as the United Kingdom. The airline’s frequent flyer programme “Caribbean Miles” is specifically designed for people travelling to, from or within the Caribbean. The new programme was launched on the 1st of January 2007 and has honoured commitments made by “Bwee Miles”, the former BWIA West Indies Airways frequent flyer programme. The transfer of all “Bwee Miles” into the new “Caribbean Miles” account has also been accepted in order to offer existing members the ability to enjoy the benefits of reward travel on the new airline.
