Arabian Adventures continues expansion

Arabian Adventures, part of Emirates Airline’s Destination & Leisure Management division, has announced a series of new appointments to manage its robust expansion programme.Peter Payet, Vice President, Arabian Adventures -
Peter Payet, a 15-year veteran with the division, has been appointed Vice President, Arabian Adventures.

Supported by a team of over 400 staff, Peter will be in charge of running Arabian Adventures’ day-to-day business and will specifically lead five specialist units - the FIT (Frequent Individual Traveller) unit, which includes Hotel Contracting and Reservations; a dedicated Leisure Groups section; MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events); Cruise Services; and the entire Operations department, which includes all front-line staff, the company’s fleet of over 120 vehicles, as well as all tours and safari operations.

Peter has played a crucial role in the development of Arabian Adventures, having been involved in all areas of the business including MICE, new business development and the FIT segment. He is recognised across the industry for establishing one of the best DMC operations in the world.

Adam McEwan, Operations Manager, Arabian Adventures -
Arabian Adventures has also appointed Adam McEwan, a dedicated tourism excursion professional, as its Operations Manager.  In this capacity Adam will oversee the division’s transport and logistics requirements as well as all its four-wheel-drive safari programmes and operations.

Adam boasts a strong working-knowledge of tour operations and was previously the founding member of the Shore Excursion department for Carnival Cruise lines. He has also held the position of Destination Manager for Oceania Cruises.

Justine Thomas Butler, Groups & Incentives Manager, Arabian Adventures -
Also joining the destination management company is Justine Thomas Butler as Groups & Incentives Manager. Justine comes with over 12 years of managerial experience in conference and event management. More recently Justine worked for Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, The Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame & Outback Heritage Centre, and Garner Events.
